Ülker, the undisputed leader of the gift chocolate market, is ready for the eid al-adha

Ülker has completed its preparations to add flavor to the Eid with its 47 different products.

Ülker has increased its market share of souvenir and gift chocolate to 38.6% in terms of turnover and 33.5% by tonnage, and it continues to strengthen its leadership.

Ülker has completed its preparations for the Eid Al-Adha with its 47 different products. Ülker’s Marketing Regional Leader Aslı Özen Turhan said that festive periods are as special for Ülker as they are for consumers, and that there had been significant demand for Ülker's candy and chocolate products during the last Ramadan, adding: "During the Ramadan, the chocolate and candy market reached TL 600 million. As the snacks market leader, Ülker maintained its number 1 position for the Ramadan, reaching its highest market share of the last 12 years. All 47 different products in our chocolate and candy portfolio are ready for consumers for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha. Ülker Çikolatin has been a constant holiday treat for more than fifty years. Its milk chocolate is a festive classic, with its colorful packaging inspired by the Ottoman “Çintemani” pattern. Ece Chocolate, the leader in our souvenir chocolate portfolio, is another well-loved product with its whole hazelnuts and soft hazelnut cream. In candy, our consumers love Ülker’ Toffee Mastic Flavor and Lokumcuk. We continue to work to offer products with the same care, quality, and taste every Eid."

Ülker's souvenir and gift chocolates have been holiday visit staples for years, and Turhan noted that Ülker’s market share has reached 33.5% in terms of tons and 38.6% in turnover, continuing: "In terms of festive chocolate consumption, Marmara took first place with 31%, Central Anatolia was second at 24%, and East and Southeastern Anatolia ranked third with 16 %. The highest consumption of candy was seen in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Regions, as in 2018. These two regions had the highest market share at 36.8% during the Ramadan last year, and their consumption rate rose to 41.7% during the 2019 Ramadan, when these two regions were followed by Marmara at 17.4% and Central Anatolia at 16.9%."
