1944
In 1944, the first Ülker brand product, Pötibör biscuits, were produced in a small workshop in Eminönü’s Nohutçu Han and quickly became a consumer favorite.
Ülker Pötibör is still one of the most popular biscuit brands in Türkiye.
1948
A biscuit factory was built in Sağmalcilar Village near the Topkapı district of Istanbul. This was an upgrade from an old workshop to a factory which boosted, production quantities. Thus hard candy production was initiated.
1965
The company opened its factory in Topkapı Davutpaşa in 1965 and began manufacturing Ülker brand products in the new and, modern facility.
An unforgettable slogan was created for the Ülker brand and was used in radio and television advertising. The slogan's message was: ''It is, not tea-time without Ülker,'' which is one reasons for our brand growth in popularity.
