The significant development of this period was Ülker's first sustainability-linked bond issuance of 2024, worth 550 million USD, with participation from more than 100 international investors from 20 countries. We carried out this bond issuance with the confidence in our country and our company. While providing added value to our country and being a strong player in our region, Leadership in the biscuit market continues in Saudi Arabia and Egypt; the strong growth trend persists in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.
We are placing significant emphasis on sustainability efforts in every field to leave a livable world for future generations. With the 50 double-decker trucks we have added to our fleet, we will travel 5.4 million km less per year, reducing carbon emissions by 5,000 tons. We focus on local agriculture, local development, and farmer welfare, working together with our farmers to promote regenerative and sustainable farming practices. We have initiated efforts in the Kırıkkale and Çorum regions,. We are aiming to implement regenerative farming practices on 10,000 decares of land by 2030. With our R&D centers; we are implementing projects that will create value for our company's activities and our sector in collaboration with domestic and international universities and research centers. These efforts also contribute to the development of innovative, sector-differentiating products. In the first six months of the year, we have introduced 17 new products to our consumers, and over the last five years, we have launched more than 220 new products. We are demonstrating successful performance in the categories we are in."
