Fifty-six young players from TFF-Ülker’s Elite Men’s Football Village (Riva Hasan Dogan National Teams Camp & Training Facility) got a chance to drop in on Team Galatasaray in training today, both to meet their idols and to have their photo taken with them.
One hundred two (102) talented 12 and 13 year-olds from all over Türkiye – including 46 girls and 56 boys – were hand-picked by their coaches at Football Village this past summer to attend the Elite Football Village between January 26 and February 8. There they will learn a whole array of different things in addition to football.
Expert coaches will help the young athletes to hone their football skills, whilst instilling in them the game’s core values – chivalry, and solidarity. To date, Football Village project has given 4,500 kids the opportunity to do sports and more. Within the past eight years, some 36 boys and 44 girls from the Village have moved on to play on national youth teams.
