A SENIOR APPOINTMENT AT ÜLKER...
A significant change of position has been made in Türkiye’s leading food company Ülker Bisküvi. According to the statement made by Public Disclosure Platform, Fulya Banu Sürücü has been appointed as CFO being effective as of January 3rd, 2022 in Ülker Bisküvi.
Cenker Uçan, who has worked as CFO for the last five and a half years in Ülker Bisküvi, will continue to work within the group as Finance Transformation Vice President of pladis Global, the snack company affiliated to Yıldız Holding, as of January 3rd, 2022.
Ülker’s CEO Mete Buyurgan who talked about this important change of position, said that: “Fulya Banu Sürücü, who has undertaken important roles in several international companies, will lead our company in the financial field. I believe that the experience she has will add a huge power to our company. I would like to say to Fulya Banu Sürücü welcome aboard and wish her success.
By the way, I thank Cenker Uçan a lot, who has worked as CFO in our company in the last five and a half years, for his contributions to Ülker’s success journey until today and wish him success in his new position.”
Fulya Banu Sürücü took her master’s degree in finance-oriented MBA program in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee after completing her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration department of Middle East Technical University in 1997. After starting her professional career as a Finance Specialist in Coca-Cola İçecek Türkiye in 1999, Sürücü worked as International Finance Specialist in Manpower and U.S. in 2001 and as a Financial Analyst in MillerCoors company until 2003. After starting to work in PepsiCo Türkiye as Financial Planning Specialist in 2003, Fulya Banu Sürücü worked there for 12 years as Financial Planning Chief, Financial Planning Director of Commercial Functions, Financial Planning Director of Türkiye, Financial Controller of Türkiye and as the Leader of Financial Control Department of Türkiye, respectively. Fulya Banu Sürücü started to work as EAGM Regional (East Africa Developing Markets) Financial Controller within the structure of General Electric in 2015 and worked as CFO of EMEA Region Logistics Business Unit until 2018.
Fulya Banu Sürücü worked successfully as CFO and a Board Member of Borusan in 2018 and she worked as CFO of EnerjiSA Üretim before starting to work in Ülker Bisküvi.
