The third game in the Beko basketball League final series, in which Fenerbahçe Ülker has a 2-0 lead, will be played tonight on Telekom’s home field. The hotly contended match will begin at 20:00.

Tutku Açık won’t play tonight

The 3rd game of the Beko Basketball League final series will be played tonight at 20:00 at the Ankara Atatürk Sports Auditorium.  Fenerbahçe, which defeated its rival twice on home field, will try to beat Telekom on its own home field which would give Fenerbahçe a great advantage to win the championship in the 4th game of the series.  Telekom will not be easy to beat on its own turf, and Telekom player Tutku Açık, who was disqualified in the second game, will not be on the field tonight.

Karakaş criticizes Telekom

Prior to the game scheduled to be televised on NTV at 20:00 this evening Fenerbahçe Ülker Branch Director Nedim Karakaş, commented  on speculation that the Telekom team wants to better their chance of taking the championship by winning two games in a row in Ankara, saying, “They want to put pressure on the referees.  Telekom won because of the refereeing in the Turkey Cup but they won’t be able to do it this time.”
