Ülker’s Ceo Mete Buyurgan Takes on an International Role
Mete Buyurgan, who has been serving as the CEO of Ülker, Turkiye’s leading food company, since February 2020, has been appointed as the Managing Director responsible for the United Kingdom and Ireland at pladis, Yıldız Holding’s global snacks company.

Buyurgan joined Yıldız Holding in 2013 as Vice President of the Food Group and was appointed as Managing Director of pladis TR in 2016.
He will continue his role as CEO of Ülker until April 6. Following this date, Özgür Kölükfakı will take over the CEO position.
Under Buyurgan’s leadership, pladis Turkey, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe have achieved significant success and investments, despite occasional challenging periods, and have become one of the leading companies in sustainability within the industry.

Expressing his excitement about embarking on a new journey to contribute to the growth of pladis, Mete Buyurgan stated:
