1002 Teams Competed at bizz@kampüs for Ülker Çizi
The Red Ideas team won the first place at bizz@kampüs, where innovative marketing-oriented ideas for Ülker Çizi competed. 1002 teams and more than 2500 students from 97 universities applied to the competition and the top 3 teams won a total of 165,000 TL in prize money and the opportunity for long-term internships.
Winners of bizz@kampüs, where ideas are generated for different Ülker brands each year, have been announced. 3rd and 4th year university students and postgraduate students participated in the competition by forming teams of 2-3 people, and Çizi.ideas competed for Ülker Çizi.
The project of the Red Ideas team, which included Tutku Rüya Göktaş and Ertuğrul Cenikli from Süleyman Demirel University Public Relations and Promotion department, was deemed worthy of first place. In the competition, the project of the PRslay team, founded by Betül Sena Dik and Ömer Faruk Dişçeken from Kadir Has University Public Relations/Advertising department, ranked second, and the project of the Aşure Team, consisting of Hümeyra Köroğlu, Dilruba Turpculu, and Seda Akbulut from Beykent University Visual Communication and Design department, ranked third. Additionally, the top 3 teams also earned the right for a long-term internship.
In the competition with a total prize money of 165,000 TL, the team that won first place received 60,000 TL, the second-place team received 55,000 TL, and the third-place team received 50,000 TL. Senior executives from Ülker joined in the excitement of the final event of bizz@campus. At the final, the awards were presented by Ülker Vice President of Human Resources, Faruk Gözeleveli, to the first team, Ülker Vice President of Production, Kadir Kamadan, to the second team, and Ülker Vice President of R&D, Ali Sertakan, to the third team.
Increasing Interest from Students
Applications to 'bizz@kampüs', where students interested in marketing and want to gain experience before their professional careers compete, increased by %27 this year. In the competition, which received 1002 applications, teams first competed to be selected among the top 50. In the competition where teams gained experience in presenting their ideas most impressively, planning, and persuading, the teams also participated in a webinar on "Brand Story". The 10 finalist received "Presentation Techniques Training", and mentoring from Ülker's marketing team provided support for them to prepare their presentations in the best possible way. . The teams made their project presentations at Ülker's Gebze factory on 9 May and , teams also had the opportunity to visit the production facility. The results were announced at the final event at the Çamlıca Campus on May 10th.
Buyurgan: "An Important Experience Before the Business Life"
Ülker CEO Mete Buyurgan, expressing his happiness with encountering exciting projects at the 'bizz@kampüs' competition, continued: "First of all, I congratulate all the teams that participated in the competition and achieved success with their projects. Our youth evaluated the information they received over the five-month process, conducted research, and turned what they learned in school life into projects. The finalists tried to convince the jury that they were the best. Each of these projects shows us what our youth can contribute to the areas we work in the business life. . I hope that this important experience opportunity will be very useful for them one step before they start their business life and I wish them all success in their career journeys."
Internship Experience in Ülker Marketing Team
Emine Ervan, Sıla Babacan, and Sevde Nur Omaç, who succeeded last year and are currently interning in the confectionery, gum & confectionery, and cake categories, expressed their feelings about the bizz@campus period as follows: "The competition contributed to developing important skills such as strategic thinking, understanding competition, presentation skills, innovative thinking, and evaluating feedback. We learned how to look at a marketing campaign from a 360-degree perspective. With the internship opportunity we are gaining important experience and now know how to shape our careers. We recommend participating in the bizz@campus competition for those who want to gain experience in marketing."

Ideas Compete for Ülker Caramio at bizz@kampüs
